Golf Shop – Bag Range and Cart Attendant position at the Country Club of Mobile in Mobile, AL.

About the role

Attend to members’ golf bags, maintain the practice range, and manage golf carts to ensure a smooth and enjoyable golfing experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests upon arrival and assist with bag drop and retrieval.
• Organize, clean, and maintain golf bags in the bag room and on the practice range.
• Operate and monitor the practice range, ensuring balls are picked up, cleaned, and stocked.
• Prepare, clean, and store golf carts; perform basic maintenance checks.
• Assist with driving range operations, including ball machine maintenance and range setup.
• Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests at all times.
• Assist Golf Shop staff with merchandising, inventory, and other duties as needed.
• Maintain a neat, organized, and professional appearance of the bag room, cart barn, and practice range.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Strong customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to and from the club.
• Previous experience in a golf course, country club, or hospitality setting is a plus but not required.
