Cart Range Bag Attendant

About the role

The Cart Range Bag Attendant is responsible for providing top-tier guest service and maintaining the quality of the golf operation. This includes managing golf carts, attending to range conditions, and offering customer service.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all members and guests, instruct on proper cart handling and club loading as needed.
• Maintain golf cart fleet by washing/detailing daily, stocking amenities, removing trash, ensuring proper fuel/power, inspecting carts, counting and securing carts, reporting issues to supervisor.
• Manage the range by ensuring adequate ball supply, collecting/cleaning/depositing balls, rotating mats, ensuring lighting equipment works, maintaining clean water in club cleaner and ball washer, removing trash, checking fuel/oil levels, greasing fittings, picking golf balls, culling cracked or damaged range balls.
• Provide customer service by addressing member/guest concerns and directing them to a supervisor.
• Perform routine maintenance on carts and range environment, such as changing flat tires, spark plugs, adjusting water levels, emptying trash, parking lot and clubhouse cleaning.
• Train other cart attendants as requested.
• Support American Golf initiatives and programs as directed.

Qualifications

• The ability to operate golf cart, ball picker, washer, dispenser, pressure washer, and cart jack.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Education in golf or related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Working Conditions

• Stand for long periods, walk, read, hear, talk, balance, climb, use hands, use fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, smell, taste, push/pull.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, color vision, adjust focus.

Pay

$17 per hour
