This position oversees the maintenance of bacon manufacturing equipment, coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations.

Adhere to safe work practices and coordinate responsibilities across maintenance, production, safety, and QA.
Implement schedules to complete projects on time, performing skilled maintenance activities including construction, welding, brazing, soldering, plumbing, and hydraulics.
Monitor production areas for proper equipment function, prioritize work orders, and schedule mechanics based on urgency.
Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic equipment, participate in HAZMAT team for emergency preparedness, promote safety, and provide hands-on training to team members.
Coordinate maintenance tasks, assign work orders or special projects, maintain department budget, conduct preoperational inspections, handle maintenance concerns, and submit downtime reports.
Assist HR with pay processing, provide feedback on training progress, and tend to other duties as needed.

Communicate verbally and in writing in English.
Perform general mathematical calculations.
Have mechanical inclination and knowledge of job specifications.
Have industrial construction experience beneficial.
Have 3 years of direct maintenance experience, with previous supervisory experience preferred.
Have considerable knowledge of building, mechanical, and electrical trade methods, materials, tools, and practices.
Have previous mechanical and related experience.
Have considerable knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
Have strong attendance record (3 points or less for internal employees).
