This role is part of the Background Check Analyst team, which works with leading agencies and organizations to tackle complex challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and assess information from multiple sources in accordance with established standards and procedures.
  • Identify discrepancies, risk indicators, or issues requiring escalation.
  • Prepare clear, accurate summaries and documentation to support internal review and decision-making.
  • Maintain organized, complete, and audit-ready records across systems.
  • Communicate findings professionally with appropriate stakeholders.
  • Manage assigned workload while meeting quality and timeliness expectations.
  • Safeguard sensitive and confidential information.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university (or an associate degree with two or more years of relevant experience may be substituted).
  • At least two (2) or more years of related experience in a field such as law enforcement, para-legal, social work, security, public health, or a related discipline.
  • Experience includes case management, document & report review, vetting identities, background screening, or similar analytical work.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct background research and analyze complex case information using sound professional judgment.
  • Strong critical thinking, documentation, and communication skills are required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a collaborative environment.
  • Proven experience and comfortability operating technology and learning new software applications quickly to perform data entry.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise a high level of confidentiality.
  • Employees are required to possess strong computer skills in MS Office, including Excel, Word, MS Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage high-volume caseloads while maintaining accuracy and meeting strict deadlines.
  • Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice – management reserves the right to revise these duties as necessary.
  • Ability to work independently in the field and exercise a high level of confidentiality.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and nights.
  • Ability to type 55 wpm.
  • Work Schedule: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm with rotating Saturdays 8am- 5pm.

Qualifications

  • Clearance Applicants selected will be subject to a government background investigation and may be required to meet the following conditions of employment.
  • Security Requirements: Ability to obtain/maintain a Security Clearance, Favorable credit check for all cleared positions, Successfully pass a background investigation, drug screen, US Citizenship.
  • Physical Demands: Standing/Walking/Mobility: Must have mobility to attend meetings with other managers and employees. Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: 10% of the time. Lifting/Pulling/Pushing: 10% of the time. Fingering/Grasping/Feeling: Must be able to write, type and use a telephone system 100% of the time. Sitting: Sitting for prolonged and extended periods of time.
