About the Unit
Mission Hospital NICU is a 51-bed, Level-III unit located on the 6th floor of Building G. The unit is staffed by 120 team members, including:
- Day Shift: 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, 2 RTs, and techs
- Night Shift: 18 RNs, 1 charge RN, and 2 RTs
Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4. The unit uses Cerner as its EMR system.
Responsibilities
Typical procedures performed on the unit include those common to a Level III or higher NICU.
Requirements
- Must have: 2+ years of Level III or higher NICU experience (candidates without this will not be considered)
- Preferred: Experience with pediatric, PICU, or mother-baby (babies only) units
- Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)

Schedule
- Every other weekend required
