BACKFILL - TRAVEL - RN -NEURO MED/ TELE

About the role

Work on a dedicated 36-bed Neurosciences/Med-Surg unit, join a collaborative team with strong CNA and HUC support, and care for a diverse neurological patient population in a modern facility using Cerner EMR.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for a diverse neurological patient population
• Assess and manage patient needs, including IV insertion and Foley catheter insertion
• Collaborate with a supportive team, including CNAs and HUCs
• Adapt to high census situations with ratios up to 7:1
• Floating may be required to other Medical-Surgical units within the facility based on patient care needs

Requirements

• Active RN License
• ACLS Certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIH) Preferred
• Neuro/Neuroscience experience Preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Positive, team-oriented attitude
• Self-motivated and dependable
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced Neuro Med-Surg environment

Qualifications

• Required: Active RN License, ACLS Certification
• PREFERRED: Neuro/Neuroscience experience
