Responsibilities
- Lead the development of core platform services, designing and building technology to support the operations of a wide variety of US Government satellites.
- Work as both an individual contributor and a lead for more junior engineers.
Requirements
- Experience working on multi-tenant services on public cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Developing and consuming APIs and services as part of platform ecosystem.
- Developing with an emphasis on automation and security.
- A habit of self-directed learning of new technologies.
- The ability to work well with a team.
- The ability to communicate clearly.
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years’ of progressively responsible software engineering experience.
- Extensive experience with Python, FastAPI, postgres, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform.
- Experience architecting and building APIs and backend services.
- In-depth knowledge of at least one commercial cloud platform and its associated services.
- Comfortable working with some ambiguity and able to self-direct your work.
- Made enough mistakes and booked enough wins to know what not to build and know what good looks like.

Pay
This role is between $138,000 - $167,000 base salary.
Schedule
This is a hybrid role requiring a regular presence in Colorado Springs, CO.
