Core Responsibilities
- Hands-on Development: Write clean, high-quality, and well-tested code to scale complex backend systems and third-party integrations.
- Architecture & Design: Define backend architecture, framework structures, and design scalable APIs and microservices.
- Technical Leadership: Lead technical roadmaps, drive architectural decisions, and ensure successful cross-team execution without losing touch with daily coding requirements.
- CI/CD & Infrastructure: Drive DevOps and infrastructure-as-code best practices to ensure seamless, automated deployments.
- Quality & Performance: Ensure high performance, security, and responsiveness of backend applications.
Technical Requirements
- Primary Language: GoLang (Expert level)
- API Technologies: gRPC, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs
- Architecture: Microservices design patterns, large-scale distributed systems, and product engineering
- Cloud Platform: Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- DevOps / Infrastructure: CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Soft Skills & Leadership
- Ability to act as a technical anchor—balancing individual deliverables with guiding framework strategy and tooling direction.
- Strong trust factor; dedication to full-time focus on this engagement.
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating across multi-functional teams.
