The engineering team builds robust APIs, optimizes database performance, and ensures high availability across cloud infrastructure to support rapid product iteration.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend services and RESTful APIs using Node.js, Python, or Go
- Architect and optimize relational and NoSQL database schemas in PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB to ensure low latency and data integrity
- Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS using Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform for automated provisioning and scaling
- Implement comprehensive automated testing suites, CI/CD pipelines, and robust logging and monitoring solutions using Datadog or Prometheus
- Collaborate with frontend engineers, mobile developers, and product managers to define technical requirements and deliver features iteratively
- Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and incident post-mortems to maintain high engineering standards
Requirements
- 3–6 years of professional software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems and distributed architectures
- Proficiency in at least one primary backend language such as Python, Go, or Node.js, and strong understanding of asynchronous programming
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining production microservices deployed on AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Solid understanding of database internals, caching strategies, query optimization, and distributed system trade-offs
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Skills
- GraphQL (bonus)
