About the role

As a Backend Engineer, you will build and scale the systems powering a revolutionary AI-driven hardware device. You'll own the development of real-time transcription pipelines, intelligent APIs, and robust cloud infrastructure using Node.js and TypeScript. Responsibilities

• Design and optimize RESTful APIs and PostgreSQL schemas to support high-scale real-time data processing.
• Manage and scale AWS infrastructure including ECS, RDS, and Lambda functions for transcription and sync pipelines.
• Implement real-time capabilities via WebSockets and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using Docker and GitHub Actions.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional backend experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and database optimization.
• Hands-on expertise in AWS services and building scalable, secure cloud-native architectures.
• A high-ownership mindset with experience shipping clean, observable code in a fast-paced startup environment.
