Backend Capability Product Specialist

Responsibilities

• Own the product roadmap for backend systems and APIs
• Define API design standards and developer experience principles
• Drive vision for a scalable microservices architecture
• Lead strategy for third-party integrations and partner APIs
• Evaluate and prioritize integration opportunities with EHR/EMR platforms
• Monitor healthcare technology trends to inform backend roadmap
• Serve as product owner within backend engineering squads

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product management experience
• 4+ years focused on backend systems, APIs, or platform products
• Proven experience delivering large-scale SaaS platform features
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and integration patterns
• Hands-on experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, AWS API Gateway)
• Strong ability to create ROI-focused investment cases
• Experience in leading API or platform product strategy, not just execution

Pay

$106,605 – $284,280 annually
