About the role

Join Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest-growing natural foods retailers, as a Back Up Scan Coordinator. This detail-oriented position plays a key role in maintaining price integrity and ensuring compliance with company and governmental regulations. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, supporting pricing accuracy and contributing to positive shopping experiences for our health-focused customers.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs and tags.
• Ensure compliance with all company and governmental pricing regulations.
• Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage across all departments.
• Maintain necessary reports and schedules related to scanning programs.
• Create and post signs, price tags, and promotional materials.
• Use a computer to activate new pricing, scan items, and staple materials.
• Interact with customers, employees, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to understand billing and accounting principles.
• Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Good vision to read and set signs, and ability to use a step ladder.
• Physical ability to:
  • Vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs., from 1” to 34”, up to a distance of 8 feet for up to 1 hour.
  • Walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift.
  • Conduct repetitive crouching, kneeling, or squatting to access points 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $15.55 – $21.30 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
