About the role

Join Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest-growing natural foods retailers, as a Back Up Scan Coordinator. This detail-oriented position ensures price integrity in-store by managing daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, updating shelf signs and tags, and maintaining compliance with company and governmental regulations. You’ll verify promotional pricing, ad accuracy, and signage across all departments while working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs and tags.
• Ensure compliance with company and governmental pricing regulations.
• Verify weekly ad price changes and promotional price accuracy.
• Maintain pricing signage in all departments.
• Analyze scanning programs and maintain necessary reports and schedules.
• Interact with customers, employees, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Read and create price tags and signs, post them accurately, and use a computer to activate new pricing.
• Use a step ladder, staple, and scan items as needed.
• Perform physical tasks, including lifting boxes up to 17 lbs., walking up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift, and repetitive crouching/kneeling/squatting to access low points.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to understand billing and accounting principles.
• Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude for customer, employee, and vendor interactions.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Good vision to read and set signs, and physical ability to use a step ladder, staple, and scan items.
• Ability to vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs. from 1” to 34” for up to 8 feet, and walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift.
• Ability to conduct repetitive crouching/kneeling/squatting for up to 50 hours.
