About the role

Join Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest-growing natural foods retailers, as a Back Up Scan Coordinator. This detail-oriented position plays a key role in maintaining price integrity and ensuring a positive shopping experience for customers seeking healthier choices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs and tags, and promotional signage.
• Ensure compliance with all company and governmental pricing regulations.
• Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage across all departments.
• Maintain necessary reports and schedules related to scanning programs.
• Work quickly and accurately to support pricing integrity in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to understand billing and accounting principles.
• Excellent mathematical skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Outgoing, friendly behavior with a positive attitude; ability to interact with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates.
• Good vision and ability to read, create, and post price tags and signs.
• Physical ability to:
  • Vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs., from 1” to 34”, up to a distance of 8 feet for up to 1 hour.
  • Walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift.
  • Conduct repetitive crouching, kneeling, or squatting to access points 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.
  • Use a step ladder, staple, and scan items.
