About the role

Join Sprouts Farmers Market, one of the fastest-growing natural foods retailers, as a Back Up Scan Coordinator. This role focuses on maintaining price integrity in-store through meticulous attention to detail while supporting a positive shopping experience for customers seeking healthier choices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly price changes, including updating shelf signs and tags, and promotional signage.
• Ensure compliance with all company and governmental pricing regulations.
• Verify weekly ad price changes, promotional price accuracy, and pricing signage across all departments.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency in a fast-paced environment to uphold pricing integrity.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 months of related experience and/or training, or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills to manage scanning programs, reports, and schedules.
• Proficiency in basic accounting principles and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent mathematical skills.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with a positive attitude for interacting with customers, employees, and vendors.
• Ability to work varied hours/days based on business needs.
• Capable of reading and creating price tags/signs, using a computer for pricing updates, and operating a step ladder.
• Physical ability to:
  • Vertically/horizontally transfer boxes weighing up to 17 lbs. from 1” to 34” for up to 8 feet, for up to 1 hour.
  • Walk up to 4 miles per 8-hour shift.
  • Conduct repetitive crouching, kneeling, or squatting to access points 6 inches from the ground for up to 50 hours.
