About the role
As a back-up nanny, you will care for children in-home without transporting them, engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on their age-appropriate development, and support families who need care for children ranging from infants through toddlers. The highest demand is for care of children under the age of 2.
Responsibilities
- Care for children in-home
- No household duties other than common sense clean-up of your activities or meals with the child
- Support families with care for children from infants to toddlers
- Engage children by providing safety and leading hands-on activities based on their age-appropriate development
Requirements
- At least 18 years old
- Experience working with children, with infant experience mandatory
- Reliable transportation
- Willingness and ability to travel to various homes throughout the area
- Available 4 or more days for 6 - 8 hour shifts between 7 am and 7 pm
