Back Office Medical Assistant

About the role

This position is a busy multifunctional position including patient intake, understanding the complexity of patient past medical, social & family history, serving as a clinical representative and working on behalf of the physician to provide patient care, including assisting with medical procedures, injections, reporting testing results and providing patient education.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with medical procedures, injections, reporting testing results and providing patient education

Requirements

• Previous medical back office experience with OBGYN preferred
• Knowledge of Athena EMR and OB/GYN is a plus

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification

Full-time, four (4) days per week, hours from 7:30 - 5:30, every weekend is a three-day weekend
