About the role

You will join a team of dynamic activation managers across the country while being responsible for achieving the organization’s strategic and commercial goals with a selection of our key multicultural on-premise accounts and customers. You will have the tools and support to build strong relationships with key stakeholders, develop customer strategies and business plans, create and sell-in compelling promotional programming, and ensure high quality organization and execution within a designated market.

You will be based in Charleston, SC.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and strengthen key relationships within a designated list of on-premise accounts within your territory through a consultative and influential approach.
  • Track all activities and consistently submit activity reports in a proprietary reporting tool to supervisor including KPI progress, account visits, trainings, accomplishments, competitive activities, and special projects.
  • Participate in overall market commercial planning which may include weekly and monthly team meetings.
  • Efficiently manage T&E Budget as well as the monthly activation budget.
  • Execute activities to drive sales, ongoing promotional activations, and training bar staff on our portfolio of products.
  • Lead meetings with key on-premise accounts within the assigned area to develop strong working relationships. Present Bacardi brands and work toward achieving increased volumes while building long-term business opportunities.
  • Responsible for sales objectives, including basic account management, new distribution, drink features, and program development & execution.
  • Deliver year-over-year growth within account list while meeting monthly KPIs within your account universe.
  • Be visible at key local events and participate where the opportunity fits our strategy, including the execution of national initiatives in the local market.
  • Actively participate in promotions and events, which often occur in the evenings or on weekends.
  • Stay informed of customer and consumer trends and develop programs to capitalize on such trends.
  • Manage select Class B accounts.
  • Provide market and competitive brand updates to supervisor to include timely and accurate communication of changing field conditions that may affect volumes as well as staffing changes at distributors and competitors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience working in the Spirits and/or Beverage industry either at a distributor, behind the bar, or in front of the house.
  • Passionate and influential relationship manager that positions the consumer at the heart of all activities to achieve results.
  • Influential communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience giving presentations in front of small groups such as executives, employees, vendors, and customers (both internal and external) at all levels of an organization.
  • Well-organized, independent thinker who multitasks and conducts themselves in an ethical and professional manner consistent with company values.
  • Ability to analyze available information for preparing reports, coordinating efforts, and solving problems.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize goals and opportunities.
  • Computer proficient in MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and advanced computer functions, including navigating the Internet.
