Babysitter for Two Young Boys

About the role

We are seeking an energetic, warm, and reliable babysitter to care for our two sons, ages 4 and 2, on Tuesday and Wednesday in Jersey City, NJ. Our childcare arrangement unexpectedly fell through, and we need someone who can step in and ensure the boys are happy, engaged, and well cared for during this time.

Responsibilities

• Engaging the children in activities such as block building, reading, imaginative play, and neighborhood adventures
• Preparing simple meals and snacks
• Managing both children at once
• Maintaining a daily routine, including a nap for the 2-year-old
• Feeding and managing bedtime routines

Requirements

• Experience with toddlers and preschool-aged kids is essential
• Comfortable managing both children at once
• Comfortable with cats present in the home (no dogs)

Schedule

Tuesday and Wednesday in Jersey City, NJ. We prefer the same sitter for both days but welcome inquiries for individual availability.
