Afternoon Babysitter for Two Boys

We are a warm, active, and close-knit family living near downtown Aiken seeking a professional, flexible, and highly dependable afternoon babysitter for our two boys, ages 2.5 and 7. The position runs from August 18, 2026, to December 31, 2026.

Schedule

• Monday to Thursday: 11:45 am to 7/8 pm
• Occasional Friday afternoons, later evenings, and overnight care (with advance notice)

Responsibilities

• Child-related activities:
  • Feeding
  • Bathing
  • Reading support
  • Homework assistance
• Light meal preparation
• Family laundry
• Light housekeeping (tidying, dishwasher maintenance)
• Occasional errands

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of childcare experience with at least 2 children
• Competence in household tasks
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable personal vehicle
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Flu vaccination
• Non-smoker and non-vaper
• Background check required

Pay

• Hourly rate starting at a minimum of $20/hr (commensurate with experience)
• Mileage reimbursement provided during working hours
