Job Description

Deep understanding of Capital Markets including derivatives and associated financial instruments
Expertise in analysing market data and business processes to drive informed decision-making
Proficient in interpreting complex data sets and generating actionable insights
Familiarity with financial products such as rates, equities, and secured financing transactions (SFTs)
Strong knowledge of the Capital Markets domain including regulatory and compliance aspects
Experience in utilizing business analysis methodologies to support project delivery within the Capital Markets sector
Skilled in using data analysis tools and platforms relevant to Capital Markets
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) processes and their application in financial services projects
Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on market trends and technologies

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements related to Capital Markets products
  • Conduct detailed analysis of market data and business workflows to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications for technical teams
  • Aid in the design and implementation of solutions that enhance trading risk management and reporting capabilities
  • Work closely with developers, testers, and project managers to ensure timely and quality delivery of projects
  • Support testing activities by validating business scenarios and ensuring alignment with requirements
  • Communicate effectively with business users and technical teams to facilitate smooth project execution
  • Monitor industry developments and incorporate best practices into business analysis and solution design
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior analysts within the Capital Markets domain
  • Utilize tools such as MS Office, Confluence, and JIRA to manage documentation and track project progress

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
