B- Shift ATS Technician

Job Summary

An ATS Operator is a highly skilled technician that creates precision mounted optics by utilizing alignment turning machines and associated metrology.

Summary Of Essential Job Duties

• Operate and setup alignment turning machining centers.
• Understand CNC programming and have the ability to create and/or modify CNC programs.
• Operate traditional inspection equipment such as toolmaker’s microscope, micrometers, height gages, and Vernier calipers.
• Able to read and understand both optical and traditional blueprints.
• Possess computer skills.

Minimum Requirements

• 1 Years of CNC machining experience.
• 1 Years of CNC programming experience.
• Knowledge of optical testing and test equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Advanced Math Skills.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand, use hands to fingers, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.
• Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.
• May involve prolonged periods of sitting/standing.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• May involve prolonged periods of magnified inspection (eye strain).
• Requires good hand-eye coordination, arm, hand and finger dexterity, including ability to grasp.
• The employee is frequently required to use the computer.

Total Rewards

• The compensation range for this position is $42,500.00 - $63,700.00, depending on experience.
• This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
