Azure Project Manager (Infrastructure)

About the role

Remote position open to candidates in the EST time zone only. Schedule is 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM with occasional after-hours work as dictated by project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects related to building and hosting new and modernization solutions in the cloud, primarily Microsoft Azure.
• Apply Agile methodology (Scrum: epics, user stories, features, MVP) and preferably SAFe.
• Facilitate IT teams to develop project goals, set clear objectives, create cloud roadmaps, and implement systems in Microsoft Azure.
• Assemble project teams, identify resource needs, assign responsibilities, develop schedules, and track expenses against budget.
• Work within Azure DevOps and apply strong knowledge of IT quality assurance methods and process controls.
• Collaborate with senior management in a fast-paced environment, reporting via executive summaries and project dashboards.
• Prioritize and manage multiple projects, tasks, and issue-resolution activities.
• Produce documentation demonstrating experience in managing large, complex projects and process improvement initiatives.
• Adjust to early or late business meetings to accommodate colleagues or partners across time zones.

Requirements

• BS in Computer Science or MIS, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Azure experience (preferred).
• 7+ years of experience in project management of technical and infrastructure services.
• 3+ years of experience designing and implementing effective technology processes.
• Familiarity with typical IT Operations and Infrastructure roles, responsibilities, services, terminology, and technologies.
• Fluent English; Portuguese, Spanish, or French is a plus.
• International experience is a plus.
