Azure Infrastructure Architect

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable Azure environments.
• Develop cloud adoption, migration, and modernization roadmaps.
• Establish Azure governance, landing zones, and operational standards.
• Create Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and Azure DevOps tools.
• Create enterprise GitHub standards, branching strategies, and release processes.
• Support hybrid cloud environments and infrastructure modernization initiatives.
• Enhance resiliency, monitoring, disaster recovery, and operational readiness.
• Implement Azure security, compliance, and identity management using Microsoft Entra ID.
• Partner with leadership and technical teams to drive cloud-first engineering practices.

Requirements

• 8+ years of infrastructure, cloud engineering, or architecture experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on Azure experience.
• Proven experience building Azure environments from the ground up.
• Strong expertise in Azure networking, compute, storage, identity, and security.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, and CI/CD automation.
• Experience migrating workloads from on-premises environments to Azure.
• Knowledge of cloud governance, security frameworks, and hybrid-cloud architectures.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
