Description of Task to be Performed: AnaVation is seeking a junior-level Azure Engineer (US Citizenship required). This a newly-awarded contract, so the selected candidate must be a self-starter who is eager to quickly integrate with a high-performing team responsible for accrediting and implementing a new digital evidence platform for our Federal Government client. This is a full-time position that can be performed remotely with occasional travel to Washington DC as needed. What You Will Be Doing Assist in building and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure using IaC tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templatesContribute to the development and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub ActionsSupport cloud governance, security configurations, and operational best practicesHelp troubleshoot and resolve basic cloud infrastructure issues across Azure networking, compute, identity, storage, and container servicesParticipate in team design sessions and contribute to solution architecture discussionsMaintain documentation for infrastructure components, deployment processes, and operational proceduresLearn and apply Azure platform updates, IaC best practices, and automation standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and assist with implementing cloud solutions Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information TechnologyHands-on experience with cloud technologies; personal projects with Azure may be acceptableClearance:Public Trust; US Citizenship is required Other Required Skills & Qualifications:Basic understanding of Azure services such as VMs, Storage, Networking, RBAC, and Azure ADFamiliarity with IaC tools (Terraform, Bicep, ARM) or strong interest in learning themExposure to version control tools such as GitFoundational scripting knowledge in PowerShell or PythonStrong desire to learn cloud engineering, automation, and DevOps practicesGood problem-solving skills and ability to follow technical guidance Preferred Qualifications: Azure certifications (AZ-900, AZ-104) or progress toward themExperience with CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions)Familiarity with container technologies (Docker, AKS) is a plusCoursework, labs, or personal projects involving cloud infrastructure or automation Benefits Generous cost sharing for medical insurance for the employee and dependents 100% company paid dental insurance for employees and dependents 100% company paid long-term and short-term disability insurance 100% company paid vision insurance for employees and dependents 401k plan with generous match and 100% immediate vesting Competitive Pay Generous paid leave and holiday package Tuition and training reimbursement Life and AD&D Insurance About AnaVation AnaVation is the leader in solving the most complex technical challenges for collection and processing in the U.S. Federal Intelligence Community.
