Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Configure and manage virtual machines, storage accounts, virtual networks, load balancers, and Azure App Services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Automate deployments using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor cloud resources using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Implement identity and access management using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Managed Identities.
- Configure backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
- Optimize Azure resources for cost, performance, and security.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, networking, and application issues.
- Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to support cloud-native applications.
- Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and industry best practices.
- Maintain documentation for cloud architecture, deployment procedures, and operational processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Strong understanding of Azure compute, storage, networking, and security services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, ARM templates, or Bicep.
- Proficiency with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or scripting languages.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or CI/CD tools.
- Knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
- Familiarity with networking concepts including DNS, VPN, Load Balancers, NSGs, and Firewalls.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and performance tuning.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- MICMS Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- MICMS Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305).
- Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and Docker.
- Knowledge of Azure Functions, Logic Apps, API Management, and Event Hub.
- Experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, or Storage Accounts.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR.
