Azure DevOps Consultant

Job Summary

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Azure Cloud Services, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep, GitHub for version control, and basic PowerShell scripting. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing DevOps pipelines and cloud infrastructure to support our client's digital transformation initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a DevOps role.
• Proven experience with Azure Cloud Services and Azure DevOps.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Bicep.
• Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control and automation.
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and practices.

Must Have

• Strong experience with Azure platform and its services, including App Services, Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS), and Azure Functions.
• Ability to manage and configure Azure resources.
• Hands-on experience with Bicep for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Proficiency with GitHub and GitHub Actions for version control, automation, and continuous integration/deployment.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, especially Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), for container management and orchestration.
• Basic knowledge of PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration management tasks.
• Experience implementing Azure Monitor for monitoring and logging solutions to ensure application availability and performance.
• Strong understanding of GitHub for version control and GitHub Actions for automating testing, deployment, and other DevOps workflows.
