Azure Cloud Developer, Mid

Doing DevSecOps well means development and automation. Making tasks repeatable and efficient across multiple environments requires infrastructure as code, scripting, and writing applications. Our cloud service broker team is looking for a developer with a good understanding of Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure, containerization, and networking to make new cloud capabilities available in secure environments. Responsibilities

• Design and automate the provisioning of cloud resources and infrastructure as code tools
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Deploy and work with Azure Landing Zones
• Assist with implementing and developing Azure policies
• Build software solutions using Azure in a secure environment

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience building software solutions using Azure in a secure environment
• 1+ years of experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience with Platform as a Service technologies
• Experience deploying and working with Azure Landing Zones
• Knowledge of network technologies, including DNS, load balancing, and TLS
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain a DoD 8570 or 8140 IAT Level II Certification within 30 days of hire date

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AWS or Google Cloud Platform
• Experience with Azure Sentinel, Microsoft security, and Azure services such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Cloud Networking
• Experience with containerization, including Kubernetes
• Experience deploying and managing Azure Virtual Desktop using Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with RedHat Enterprise Linux and command-line interfaces, including Bash
• Experience configuring Windows client and servers, including Active Directory or Group Policies
• Experience with Git and GitLab
• Top Secret clearance
• Master’s degree
• Azure Architect Expert Certification

Pay

Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
