About the role

The Mid Cloud Developer will develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS. Responsibilities include implementing automation using DevSecOps best practices, analyzing applications for cloud migration, and providing strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses. The role involves developing and implementing cloud applications, migrating on-premises applications, debugging cloud stacks, managing cloud policies, and ensuring secure, available cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop cloud service delivery models and architectural frameworks for PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, and DaaS.
• Implement automation for cloud resources using DevSecOps best practices.
• Analyze applications and recommend migration or deployment strategies for cloud environments.
• Provide strategies for failure/recovery, cost optimization, and benefit analyses of cloud, cloud-agnostic, and on-premises services.
• Develop and implement cloud applications.
• Migrate existing on-premises applications to the cloud.
• Debug cloud stacks and manage policies for cloud service usage.
• Establish secure cloud environments and ensure appropriate availability and uptime design.
• Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing cloud software.

Requirements

• Active Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility; may require completion of a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or 4 additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
• At least five years of Cloud Development experience.
• Experience with AWS, Data Engineering, Java, Python, Scala, and Databricks.
• Ability to architect and migrate on-premises applications into a cloud platform.
• Experience using active learning and analytical thinking in collaborative, cross-functional teams.

Pay

A reasonable salary range for this position is $133K to $149K, determined by local market conditions and candidate qualifications.
