Job Summary
We're seeking an Aymara language expert to contribute to the development of large-scale language models. Your expertise will be crucial in capturing Aymara vocabulary, grammar, dialectical variations, and cultural context, helping to preserve indigenous knowledge and support authentic linguistic interactions.
Responsibilities
- Challenge advanced language models on topics like contextual interpretation, tone and meaning, dialectical distinctions, semantic accuracy, and cultural nuance.
- Document every failure mode encountered during verification of linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance.
- Suggest improvements to prompt engineering and evaluation metrics.
- Converse with the model in Aymara across a wide range of topics.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Linguistics, Indigenous Studies, Translation, or a related field.
- Professional experience in teaching, translation, language documentation, or community work.
- Clear, metacognitive communication skills.
