About the role
The AWS Student Builder Group Leader internship is a remote role focused on organizing and guiding student participation in AWS-related learnings and workshops across your college campus.
Responsibilities
- Promote AWS Builder Center programs, resources, and opportunities across your campus.
- Plan and host campus events, workshops, information sessions, and other community-building activities.
- Track outreach activities, event participation, and student engagement.
- Participate in program training, check-ins, and required reporting.
- Represent AWS Builder Center professionally on campus.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a recognized college, university, or other post-secondary institution.
- At least 18 years old.
- At least 12 months remaining before your anticipated graduation date.
- Foundational understanding or interest in cloud computing and AWS services, with willingness to learn and explore new tools.
- Community-building and leadership skills, including organizing student groups, facilitating discussions, and encouraging peer collaboration.
- Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and follow through on commitments.
- Interested in technology, student leadership, community building, or professional development.
Qualifications
- Existing relationships with technical, entrepreneurial, or career-focused campus organizations.
- Familiarity with AWS, cloud computing, coding, or other technical concepts.
