AWS Migration Specialist
The opportunity: CACI is seeking a skilled AWS professional to drive a digital transformation effort as several integral Navy systems are modernized and transitioned from on-prem to the cloud. The position will be the beginning of a large effort in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD). This project will promote force-readiness and position the fleet for success in a modern world.
Responsibilities
- Migrating legacy systems from on-prem into AWS
- Configuring AWS to customer specifications
- Deploying Containerized Apps (Docker, Podman, AWS ECS)
- Configuring/implementing Single Sign-On (SSO)
- Ensuring DoD CC SRG / DISA STIG compliance
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance
- 3-5 years of experience in migrating legacy systems ("Lift and Shift") on-premise servers to AWS
- Deploying containerized apps (Docker, Podman, AWS ECS)
- Hardening systems to meet DoD CC SRG / DISA STIG compliance using Ironbank
- Working experience in integrating:
- Keycloak
- Single Sign-On (SSO)
- SAML authentication
Skills
- Deep specialization in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure (desired)
- 5+ years of concurrent experience working with cloud services (desired)
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using:
- Terraform
- Configuration Management via Ansible
- CI/CD pipeline development (GitLab)

Pay
There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is $75,200-$158,100.
