Responsibilities
- Design, build, and manage AWS-based Linux infrastructure for scalable application deployments
- Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, repeatable, and fast deployments
- Manage application releases, deployments, and rollback strategies across environments
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and application delivery using Infrastructure as Code
- Collaborate with development teams to improve build, test, and deployment workflows
- Troubleshoot deployment failures, pipeline issues, and production incidents
- Implement blue/green, canary, and rolling deployment strategies
- Maintain system reliability, monitoring, and alerting for production services
- Optimize performance, scalability, and cost of cloud infrastructure
- Enforce security best practices across infrastructure and deployment pipelines
- Maintain runbooks, deployment documentation, and operational procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation supporting production systems
Requirements
- 5+ years of Linux system administration (RHEL, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, Rocky/CentOS)
- 3+ years of AWS experience (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, EKS, ALB/NLB, CloudWatch)
- Strong experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Hands-on experience with application deployments in cloud environments
- Proficiency in Bash and Python for automation
- Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred, CloudFormation acceptable)
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
- Solid understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls)
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/OpenSearch, Datadog)
- Experience implementing deployment strategies (blue/green, canary, rolling updates)
- Strong troubleshooting skills across pipelines, infrastructure, and applications

Pay
Compensation for Cloud System Admin will range from $90,000 to $120,000 based on experience, if your experience falls outside required ranges compensation may be based on other open roles.
