About the role
The AWS Certified Welding Inspector & Ultrasonic Shear Wave Level II Technician will perform Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) inspections of weldments, piping systems, and fixed equipment within the assigned area(s).
Responsibilities
- Perform NDT inspections on weldments, piping systems, and fixed equipment.
- Work on project-based schedules with the Alaska Special Projects Callout Division.
- Travel to remote job sites as needed.
Requirements
- AWS CWI certification
- Level II UTSW certification
- MT and PT certifications
- Radiographic Testing (RT) Code level II certification preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
Essential Physical Functions
- Routine lifting up to 50 lbs
- Periodic willingness to travel to remote job sites
