About the role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Lead Software Engineer/Cloud Architect to support a mission-critical Aerospace/Defense program. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud-based solutions built on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Schedule
9/80 schedule — 9 days (80 hours) out of every 14 days, with every other Friday off.
Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, development, and deployment of AWS-based cloud applications supporting enterprise software implementation.
- Prepare comprehensive architectural designs and ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and cost-efficient.
- Partner with engineering and program teams to translate requirements into robust cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance is required.
- Security+ certification or equivalent DoD IAT Level II certification, or the ability to obtain one within 80 days of hire.
- Bachelor’s degree and 9 years of relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience building cloud applications on AWS and preparing architectural designs.
