About the role

AWS Administrator position available in Titusville, NJ.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver end-to-end solutions for Data Analytics applications handling both structured and unstructured data within the AWS and Oracle environments.
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to refine and document infrastructure requirements iteratively while accurately forecasting engineering efforts.
  • Leverage continuous integration and automation for stable development and production environments.
  • Optimize costs and improve performance.
  • Proficient in Linux and Windows system administration tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong commitment to quality.
  • Mentor and be mentored within a multisite multicultural development team.
  • Work in a fast-paced, growing, deadline-driven startup environment.

Requirements

  • Over 8 years of professional experience in AWS administration.
  • Strong ability to collaborate with project managers and stakeholders.
  • Extensive experience in optimizing costs and performance.
  • Proficient in Linux and Windows system administration tasks.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality.
  • Self-motivated and determined to achieve set milestones.
  • Eagerness to learn new technologies.
  • Capable of seamless working within a multisite multicultural development team.
  • Eagerness to work in a fast-paced, growing, deadline-driven startup environment.

Qualifications

  • Holds a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Skills

  • Experience with AWS Architect Associate certification.
  • Experience with Scrum and Agile Development environments.
  • Experience with tools like JIRA, Git, Bitbucket, Confluence.
  • Strong working knowledge of tools like Sqoop, Spark, Oozie, Hive, and Impala.
  • Strong working knowledge of ETL tools like Informatica and Talend.
  • Knowledge of best practices in using reporting tools like Tableau, Qlik, R, etc.
  • Experience with data lineage, data profiling, and metadata management tools and processes.
