Awning & Canvas Fabricator

The Opportunity

You will serve as a vital craftsman in our production facility, transforming high-quality textiles into premium architectural soft goods. This role gives you the opportunity to work on custom, luxury projects for prestigious residential and commercial properties across the Southeast. You will collaborate with a dedicated team that values precise craftsmanship and offers year-round stability for your career growth.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Previous industrial sewing experience or a strong mechanical aptitude with an expressed willingness to learn.
• Proven ability to accurately read and utilize a physical tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch.
• Demonstrated physical capability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 50 pounds.
• Natural comfort handling, moving, and aligning large, heavy material panels throughout production.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Experience in specialty awning fabrication, marine canvas assembly, upholstery, or industrial sailmaking.
• Familiarity with computer-aided automated cutting systems and large-format fabric layout processes.
• Hands-on experience operating RF welders, hot-air welders, or industrial heat-sealing equipment.
• Background working with performance textiles such as Sunbrella, acrylics, vinyl, PVC, or Serge Ferrari mesh.
