Awake Overnight Counselor - Residential Recovery Services

About the role

The Oasis program partners with Harrington Hospital to provide 6-12 months of residential recovery services to 16 adults who have both mental health and substance use disorders. Oasis is not a typical group home environment — our model supports all paths to wellness and recovery, including yoga, meditation, SMART Recovery, therapy animals, 12-step programs, and more.

Awake Overnight Counselors provide guidance and support to help individuals live as independently as possible. Counselors implement procedures that ensure the health, safety, and well-being of individuals and maintain the general cleanliness and safety of the physical site.

Responsibilities

• Complete basic housekeeping, filing, and shift logs
• Observe and/or support individuals in taking their medications
• Remain awake and alert for the entirety of the overnight shift
• Assist with daily living skills, morning transports, and supports as necessary
• Exercise good judgment and communicate with the team and supervisors when support is needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License and acceptable driving record
• Reliability, willingness to learn, and openness to new opportunities

Pay

$20.00/Hr. - $22.48/Hr.
