About the Role

As an Awake Overnight Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.) or Awake Overnight Home Health Aide (H.H.A.), you will assist in providing daily routine or episodic nursing aide care in a clinically intensive residential program tailored for adults with brain injury and complex health needs. You will work collaboratively with individuals served, their families, friends, employers, and other support staff to transform lives through rehabilitation values, principles, and techniques, including skills training to help overcome barriers, live independently, and improve quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Assist individuals with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Administer medication under the Medication Administration Plan (MAP) guidelines.
  • Support individuals in becoming more integrated into their communities.
  • Help the program meet the highest quality standards.
  • Employ rehabilitation techniques to promote independence and enhance quality of life.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current C.N.A. certificate or H.H.A. Certificate valid in Massachusetts.
  • Strong time management and writing skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age with a current, valid US driver’s license for at least 6 months.
  • Must be able to become CPR and First Aid certified within 2 weeks of employment and MAP certified within 150 days of employment.
  • Must successfully pass a CORI, reference, national fingerprinting, CNA or HHA certification, and driving record check.
