AW Quality Assurance Inspector

Responsibilities

• Performing checks on line of printed items (UPC Scans, Visual Inspection, Tape Testing, IPA Testing, Sutherland Rub, and all others tests required by customers)
• Enter NCMR’s and contain and place suspect product on hold
• Challenge Metal Detectors
• Challenge Skid Scanners
• Train new inspectors on procedures regarding new products or test methods
• Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customer
• Help pull micro samples monthly
• Help to prepare AW for Audits (IMS, Customer, ISO and SQF)
• Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental and Department of Health requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (preferred) or GED equivalent
• Prior experience as a Printing Operator (preferred)
• Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• Computer skills (Proficient in Excel, Power Point, and Word or the ability to Learn)
• Ability to lift 30lbs
• Ability to communicate with customers and auditors in a professional manner
• Knowledge of C-Pro, ISO, SQF, IMS and HACCP
