Accountabilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives, including hiring, training, performance management, and career development initiatives.
- Drive account growth and custodial asset expansion across existing employer relationships.
- Guide team members in building and maintaining strong relationships with employer clients, consultants, brokers, and ecosystem partners.
- Provide strategic leadership on market analysis, growth planning, and business partnership development.
- Serve as a senior escalation point for complex client matters and advocate internally for partner needs.
- Support consultative activities related to benefits strategies, plan reviews, consumer-directed healthcare adoption, financial health initiatives, and RFP processes.
- Oversee renewal strategies, financial performance reporting, negotiations, and profitability management.
- Ensure the delivery of exceptional service, solutions, and support across the client portfolio.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support strategic initiatives and improve products, programs, and client outcomes.
- Participate actively in leadership meetings and contribute to broader organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 8-10+ years of experience working with senior executives, including CHROs, CFOs, and senior benefits leaders within the insurance, healthcare, or financial services industries.
- 8-10 years of strategic and consultative selling experience, ideally within consumer-directed healthcare, insurance, or financial services.
- Strong relationship management skills, including negotiation, collaboration, stakeholder engagement, and active listening.
- Solid understanding of health insurance products, health accounts, and employer benefits frameworks.
- Experience developing and implementing strategic growth plans for complex client portfolios.
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to influence executive-level audiences.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities and a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset.
- Leadership experience managing and developing high-performing teams is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office applications is preferred.
- Ability and willingness to travel extensively, with travel requirements potentially exceeding 30%.
