Summary
Job Title: AVP, Relationship Manager
About the role
Enterprise Bank & Trust is a community-focused bank with offices across several states. This role involves developing and managing new and existing relationships, enhancing customer service, and contributing to the bank's deposit growth through various products.
Responsibilities
- Interviews applicants and obtains financial data
- Evaluates financial information and determines credit acceptability
- Approves loans within lending authority or presents to Loan Committee
- Ongoing monitoring of existing loans
- Participates in assisting other Relationship Managers on larger credits
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of all commercial products
- Analyzes financial statements and recommends cross-selling strategies
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in credit underwriting and business line portfolio management
- Experience in underwriting/closing deals preferred
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to cross-sell banking products
- Self-motivated to work independently and take ownership
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in analyzing financial statements
- Solid business discretion, good judgment, and problem-solving skills
- Strong working knowledge of banking regulations, compliance standards, and market trends
Supervisory Responsibilities
None
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business
- Minimum of three years of commercial lending experience
- Commercial real estate lending experience a plus
- Formal credit training program preferred
Computer and Software Skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite
- Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, Salesforce preferred
- LinkedIn preferred
