Vizient is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Healthcare IT Specialist. This position will focus on enhancing patient care through advanced technology solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement healthcare IT strategies to improve patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and integrate new technologies.
• Provide technical support and training to staff members.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare IT.
• Proficiency in healthcare IT systems and software.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and data security best practices.

Skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Trello).
