AVP Operations - Settlement Services

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely settlement of all Federal Reserve-eligible securities through the BNY Mellon clearance platform.
• Monitor and reconcile securities and cash positions, investigating and resolving any exceptions or discrepancies.
• Track and report TMPG-eligible fails and assist in the management and remediation of fail exposures.
• Escalate operational issues and settlement risks to appropriate management and stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Oversee FICC-related activities to ensure alignment with funding and settlement requirements.
• Process and manage triparty collateral position allocations and related activity.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree
• Full trade life cycle understanding to support the settlement processing supporting all Securities product type
• Manage manual tasks in the role and investigate to improve/automate
• Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Process improvement/re-engineering

The expected base salary ranges from $85,000 - $125,000. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, including Medical, Dental and 401K plans, successful candidates are also eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
