AVP Major Gifts Foundation

Responsibilities

• Identify, qualify, cultivate, solicit and steward appropriate major gift donors and prospects.
• Serve as a key member of the Moves Management team and be accountable for an assigned share of the Foundation's fundraising goals.
• Work collaboratively with other development officers to provide continuity in relationship throughout the continuum of giving.
• Explore and recommend engagement strategies targeted to prospective donors.
• Work closely with donor relations staff to develop and implement those strategies.
• Develop and lead significant fund-raising projects in support of HonorHealth's strategic priorities.
• Track secured gifts and pledges against defined goals using the development database.
• Plan, document, track, report and perform donor relationship activities and objectives.
• Manage volunteer assistance with major gifts programs.
• Maintain professional membership in relevant trade associations and societies.
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop strategic goals and measures.
• Complete special assignments for the President or Senior Vice President as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 5 years of experience in identification, acquisition, solicitation, and stewardship of annual and major gifts.
• CFRE (Certified Fund Raising Executive) certification preferred.
