AVP, IT Operations & Cybersecurity

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a AVP, IT Operations & Cybersecurity to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications space. This leader will oversee the enterprise's cybersecurity and IT operations strategy, ensuring technology capabilities support business priorities and operational resilience. The role partners closely with executive leadership to align security, policy, and operating practices with organizational goals in a complex, large-scale environment. It also requires guiding cross-functional teams, managing vendor relationships, and driving continuous improvement across critical technology functions. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Drive overall cybersecurity and IT operations strategy across the enterprise.
• Develop and implement corporate cybersecurity and IT policies.
• Align business strategy with organizational goals alongside executive leadership.
• Direct multi-functional teams to ensure effective initiative execution.
• Serve as the main communication point for cybersecurity posture to upper management.
• Oversee budget planning and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Evaluate complex business problems and apply strategic risk mitigation.

Pay

$178,852 – $324,697 annually
