About the role

The AVP – IT Finance supports accounting and financial planning and analysis activities including forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, and business performance insights. This role partners closely with IT leaders to provide analytics, reporting, and P&L creation and development to help achieve financial and strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for interpreting and analyzing financial information related to the general ledger journal entries and transactions
• Accountable for maintaining and overseeing the accurate processing of IT departmental invoices and records in areas such as software licenses, data processing charges, hardware purchases, and intercompany items
• Assist in the preparation of the IT annual budget and quarterly forecasts
• Ensure adherence to proper internal controls and policies and interface with key internal and external customers as part of daily responsibilities and project teams

Requirements

• 7-10 years of relevant financial experience, ideally in corporate finance, accounting, consulting, or banking
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to provide actionable insights
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with business leaders and cross-functional partners
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Excellent judgment and professionalism with internal and external stakeholders
• High attention to detail with consistent, high-quality deliverables
• Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills

Pay

The estimated salary range for this role is $85,000-$110,000 along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus. Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, and experience.
