AVP, Investment Banking

About the role

The Investment Bank is responsible for the investment activities of the organization, including reporting, asset allocation, risk/return objectives, client relationships, and portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on a wide range of strategic transactions across Insurance, FinTech, Banks and Specialty Finance, and Asset and Wealth Management Verticals.
• Conduct industry research, evaluate key trends and opportunities, develop financial models, perform valuation analyses and manage the execution of transactions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to clients and senior leadership, while nurturing and building strong relationships with other industry professionals.
• Execute and manage financial transactions, including developing relationships and managing people.
• Cook up deal-related workstreams between team members, clients, industry consultants, lawyers and accountants.
• Employ financial models to develop solutions to financial problems or to assess the financial or capital impact of transactions.
• Position requires 20% domestic and international travel to meet with clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in investment banking or a related field.
• Advanced degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in leading and managing teams.
• Knowledge of financial markets and regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Skills

• Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

Salary Range: $225,000 - $247,500 per year

Schedule

Full-time position with 20% domestic and international travel.
