About the role

This position is responsible for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all aspects of the HonorHealth Foundation Corporate Fundraising program. As a key member of the Foundation's development team, you will be accountable for an assigned share of the Foundation's fundraising goals. The role involves establishing and maintaining fundraising practices that ensure a coordinated and strategic approach to HonorHealth’s supply chain and working with the HonorHealth enterprise to identify promising programs and match them with organizational funders. You will cultivate long-term strategic relationships with organizational funders to secure sponsorships and philanthropic gifts while participating in developmental, promotional, and stewardship activities.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with some evenings and weekends depending on fundraising events and activities. This is an on-site position at the Foundation Office in Scottsdale, AZ, with travel to other locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Implement, grow, and manage all aspects of the HonorHealth Corporate Relations Program, including identifying, qualifying, cultivating, soliciting, and stewarding corporate partnerships and sponsorships at local and national levels.
• Aggressively increase organizational revenue using a blend of traditional and non-traditional fundraising strategies.
• Maintain and expand the base of corporate partner relationships through ongoing communication and solicitation, ensuring timely renewals and continued partnership growth year over year.
• Collaborate proactively with the HonorHealth Supply Chain to develop a lead portfolio and strategy with all vendors to HonorHealth.
• Research and maintain corporate profiles on qualified prospects and donors, defining strategic action for each prospect based on available data and supervising its use in solicitation of gifts to closure.
• Work collaboratively with the Foundation stewardship team to develop creative corporate cultivation and sponsorship opportunities with value-added benefits for donors, ensuring benefit fulfillment and event follow-up strategy.
• Cultivate fundraising opportunities with local businesses and organizations to increase philanthropic revenue.
• Participate in professional associations to stay current with knowledge and skills required of a professional fundraising associate, ensuring active identification and accomplishment of annual personal development goals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced, high-volume development operation with a proven track record of successful relationship building and solicitation (7 years preferred).
• Proven record of directly soliciting and securing five- and six-figure corporate gifts.
