AVP, AI Strategy & Transformation

For our client, we are seeking a AVP, AI Strategy & Transformation to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This leader will shape an enterprise-wide AI agenda that connects strategy, investment priorities, governance, and execution across a complex organization. The role will partner closely with IT leadership and business executives to ensure AI initiatives are practical, value-driven, and aligned to enterprise needs. It will also provide visible leadership across cross-functional forums, helping move high-priority initiatives from concept to measurable operational outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $232,506 – $348,758 annually Responsibilities Own and advance the enterprise AI strategy in partnership with IT leadership Define the annual AI investment roadmap, including ROI models Align AI strategy to business needs by engaging leaders across the organization Evaluate new AI capabilities while balancing innovation with cost discipline Chair the AI transformation governance forum and manage initiative go/no-go decisions Guide the executive AI council by preparing performance reports and tracking risks Manage compliance gates for AI initiatives involving personal health information Qualifications 10+ years of experience in large-scale business transformation and 5 years in multi-entity roles Proven ability to turn transformation initiatives into operational outcomes at scale Expertise in governing complex initiative portfolios in regulated environments Experience leading cross-functional bodies to resolve C-suite conflicts Strong influence and leadership in matrixed organizations Familiarity with healthcare or highly regulated industries is a key differentiator Ability to manage complex vendor relationships with commercial discipline Benefits Access to professional development and training programs Collaborative work environment across units Opportunity to impact enterprise-wide AI transformation High-visibility role with direct decision-making authority Engage in the latest AI technologies and partnerships Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
